Nice to meet you.
In the 1950’s, my paternal grandmother, Andrée, moved into a brand new modern home and filled it with quintessential mid-century designer furnishings. A bold move having come from a traditional Southern-Louisiana upbringing! At the same time, my maternal grandmother, Josefina, had recently immigrated from Cuba and began to fill her home with the finest Chinoiserie and French antiques.
Two women from very different cultures who both valued design, cooking and above all, family. Somewhere along the way my own style morphed from these two amazing women— a direct combination of their cultures and traditions!
Having worked as a Stylist, Color & Trend Forecaster, Product Designer and Art Director, I create images that are intentional, beautiful and drive engagement from your audience. My focus is to identify the relationship between design and visual communications as it relates to your brand/project.
My passion for design stems from an extensive education. I first received my Bachelors degree in Textiles and Apparel Design from The University of Texas at Austin, a Masters Degree in Fashion Styling/Marketing from Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy and a second Masters Degree (MA) in Design from London School of Design and Marketing/University for the Creative Arts.
I have also had the honor to guest lecture and teach a variety of audiences about the connection of color psychology and visual communications.
Whether you need beautiful, professional images, art direction and/or digital or printed marketing materials, I can help you develop and produce stunning visuals that are engaging and leave a lasting impression with your customers.
